Practice Areas - Nursing Resource Team The UHN Nursing Resource Team (NRT) is comprised of nurses trained to work on different units to help meet the staffing needs throughout the organization. While these nurses are rotating to the various clinical areas, they gain a considerable breath of knowledge, skill and experience, and develop a strong sense of flexibility and adaptability. NRT nurses are provided with a generalized, comprehensive, and individualized orientation giving them the versatility to work with all nursing teams; therefore, providing safe, competent, patient-centered care. NRT nurses are fully supported by the units and the NRT office. The NRT office consists of a manager, educational coordinator, secretarial service and analyst. |
