Pain Management

Measuring Pain

At UHN, we use a pain scale to understand the pain you are experiencing. The scale uses a rating system from 0 to 10. Zero means you are not having pain and 10 is the worst pain you have ever experienced. We will ask you to describe your pain using this scale.

You can tell us what number is comfortable for you.
