Psychosocial Oncology and Palliative Care

Chaplaincy Services

POPC Overview | Our Team

Chaplaincy Services is here to help you. Spiritual and religious questions for patients and families arise throughout the experience of illness. Hopes and dreams change and often plans must change along with them. Our chaplains are here to support you as you deal with a difficult diagnosis, changes in your life, a painful disease, having to make tough decisions, or when you need support with your beliefs, values, or relationship with the Sacred in your life.

Chaplains are an important part of professional teams that care for you at UHN. Our chaplaincy team consists of senior chaplains/teaching supervisors, staff chaplains, chaplain residents/interns and volunteers. We represent a variety of religious traditions. At your request, chaplains can obtain the services of a member of the clergy from your faith group.
