Magic Castle – Children's Services

POPC Overview | Our Team

Image: Magic CastleThe Magic Castle is a free childcare service for families of Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) patients attending appointments or visiting loved-ones in the hospital. The Magic Castle service is provided with the valued and visible support of Mothercraft and the Canadian Cancer Society.

What do we provide?

We provide essential childcare services for children whose loved-ones are undergoing cancer treatment at Princess Margaret Hospital. We help reduce stress and fear by assisting children with expressing emotions while increasing the understanding of cancer through play.

This service also provides links to the community for referrals beyond our scope (such as intensive psychotherapy and home visits/consultation). As well as, our Early Childhood Educator works as part of a team within the hospital to offer the best care for your child.

To make a reservation, please call (416) 946-4501, ext. 5157.
