Allied Health - Physiotherapy
Physiotherapists are valued members of many of the interdisciplinary health care teams at UHN. They have a tradition of providing excellent patient care throughout UHN. Staff have the opportunity to work in highly specialized settings such as Multi-Organ Transplant and Cardiac Services. They also supply specialized services to our world-renowned Musculoskeletal and Hand Program, Healthy Connections, Neurosciences, Cardiopulmonary, General Medicine, Surgery, and Oncology Programs.
Physiotherapists partner in educational and research initiatives and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams that include: Physicians, Rehabilitation Professionals, Educational and Research Coordinators, Clinical Resource Specialists and Clinical Practice leaders.
Qualifications as a Physiotherapist:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy
- Registered with the College of Physical Therapists of Ontario
- CPA membership preferred
Qualifications as a Physiotherapy Assistants:
- Physiotherapy Assistant Diploma from a recognized Community College Program
