Wharton Head and Neck Centre

The Wharton Centre is Canada's only multidisciplinary centre devoted exclusively to the research, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of head and neck cancers.

The Centre focuses on cancers affecting:

• Lip
• Tongue
• Mouth
• Palate
• Pharynx
• Larynx
• Upper trachea
• Nasal pharynx

The 10-year-old program is recognized internationally for excellence in clinical care, research and education. It features the collaborative efforts of staff from many specialties, including surgical and radiation oncology, medical imaging, pathology, dentistry, neurosurgery, speech pathology, nutrition and social work.
