The Analytical Genetics Technology Centre (AGTC) brings together scientists from UHN and the University of Toronto's research institute, providing a comprehensive genome research program. AGTC's goal is to explore an important component of genetic research - the realm of genetic variability.
The Centre's 5,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art, genotyping facility operates according to rigorous standards and quality. Sample handling and processing are fully automated and are performed by advanced robotics AGTC's genotyping facility accommodates and processes all sample formats with easy storage and retrieval of data.
