Phototherapy Centre
Located within the Dermatology Centre, the Phototherapy Centre is staffed by our nurse and our phototherapist. Ultraviolet (UV) radiation treatments, including broadband UVB, narrow band UVB, topical and oral PUVA (the combination of a photosensitizing drug and UVA radiation) are available. Patients can begin treatment at the Phototherapy Centre by being referred by one of the Centre's dermatologists.

Phototesting and photopatch testing
To investigate photosensitivity disorders, phototesting and photopatch testing can be arranged by a referral from a dermatologist.

Assessments of admitted patients
Patients admitted to Toronto Western Hospital, Toronto General Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital who require dermatologic assessment can be seen by dermatologists on our consult services.

• Service is provided at Mount Sinai Hospital on an ad hoc basis.
• Dr. I. Jarvis join the dermatologists from Toronto Western Hospital to provide care to in-patients at Toronto General and Princess Margaret Hospitals.
