Clinics and Services

The Patient & Family Library is a service for patients, their families and other community members, providing reliable and current consumer health information as well as information about community programs and services.

Clinicians can refer patients to the Library, where they can browse through material and consult with library staff if they need more information.

Library Services

Customers can:

• Check out books, videos, and DVDs;
• Watch video/DVD in our reading room;
• Take home free pamphlets on a variety of different health topics;
• Ask library staff to make a health information search;
• Use our computer to search health information

The Library's collection reflects the languages spoken at TWH, offering materials in English, Chinese, Portuguese, French, Italian, Spanish, Korean and Vietnamese.

Library hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Health Education
Keeping in touch with the community, we develop collaborative partnerships and linkages between TWH and community partners to promote health and ensure equitable access to health services.
