Mission
Our mission is to identify, acquire, preserve and provide access to corporate records--regardless of format--documenting the historical development and achievements of our member institutions (Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital), as well as their predecessor bodies.

The Archives have three separate locations and are open to both external and internal researchers by appointment.

Please Contact the Archivist ahead of time to discuss your research needs and make an appointment.

All researchers are required to read our Terms of Use and complete a Researcher Registration Form. Some of our records are restricted due to the personal information they contain. Your registration package includes our access policy for restricted or sensitive material, our guide for the proper citation of archival sources, and a Copy Request Form should you require it. During your appointment the Archivist will be available to help you find what you are looking for.
