Referrals and Diagnosis
The Neuromuscular Clinic at Toronto Western Hospital specializes in the tertiary care and research of patients with disorders of the nerve, muscle, and neuromuscular junction.

Patients are referred to our care area from across Ontario and Canada. We see approximately 3,500 patients each year in our clinic and perform 1600 procedures, such as single-fibre electromyography (EMG) and quantitative EMG tests. For these procedures, we use state-of-the-art electrodiagnostic equipment with extensive networking and immediate reporting capabilities.
