Blended Learning for UHN

Research staff, Allied health professionals, chaplains and all employees requiring read-only EPR access will now complete their UHN Electronic Patient Record (EPR) training through the Electronic Patient Record Blended Learning Program!

What is Blended Learning?
Blended Learning is a training approach that combines both online (sometimes referred to as elearning) and classroom learning.

Access your UHN Electronic Patient Record training anytime, anywhere! 24/7 access to online learning, from any computer with high-speed Internet!
All training completed through a simulated UHN Electronic Patient Record application!
No login or password required! Simply go to the Blended Learning site and begin learning right away!
Online practice modules - refresh your skills after training!

The program includes 2 components:

Online – Complete all training online, through a simulated Electronic Patient Record environment! Interactive modules are user-driven, and allow you to learn at your own pace. The online component includes learning and practice modules, as well as a personal self-assessment tool. (Approximate online training time: 1.5-2.0 hours, depending on type of access required)

In-class Test – Once you have completed the learning, practice modules and the self-assessment tool; attend an Applied Knowledge Test session. You must successfully complete the in-class test to be granted access to Electronic Patient Record system. (Approximate testing time: 20-30 mins).  No registration is required.  Please review the Blended Learning Testing Centre Hours posted in the Course & Testing schedule link on the right hand side of this page.
