Cardiac Surgery Family Support Group

The Cardiac Surgery Support Group provides information and counselling for the significant others of inpatients. The sessions are held on Wednesday mornings when the patient is admitted to the cardiovascular surgery floor. Some of the discussion topics include post-operative behaviours, rehabilitation, stress and coping. This support group complements other educational classes offered by Nursing, Pharmacy and Rehabilitation Services.
