Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy is a method of treating disease with the use of drugs or medications. At present there are many different types of medications that can be used to prevent the growth, multiplication and spread of cancer cells, in order to control this disease.   The course of treatment may include a combination of many medications.

Other treatment methods include surgery, radiation therapy, used together with chemotherapy.   Chemotherapy medications used take into consideration the type of cancer, the part of the body where cancer occurs, and health conditions of the patient.
