Thoracic Surgery
What is it?
Thoracic Surgery is the diagnosis and treatment of the diseases or conditions of the trachea, lungs, esophagus and mediastinum. The multi-disciplinary Thoracic Surgery team at Toronto General provides care to cancer and non-cancer patients. The team works together to provide patient-centred care. They work closely with patients and families to understand their needs and concerns, and care is tailored to meet these needs.
