In November 2008, UHN participated in a one-week Accreditation by the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation.

UHN's Construction and Design Guidelines are intended to assist those providing construction and design services to UHN ensure that their work is completed appropriately. Underlying principles, key areas for consultation, external standards, UHN policies and procedures and, where applicable, product specifications, are all referenced within the Guidelines.
