Arthritis and related autoimmune disorders affect over 4.5 million Canadians. That number is steadily increasing, making arthritis a leading chronic disease and a massive burden to Canada's economy.
This is not about other people; it's about all of us. The over 115 arthritis-related autoimmune diseases have tremendous impact on the lives of countless Canadians, often targeting young people in the prime of their lives. We have developed a number of creative and easy ways you can put the power of research to work. Below are a number of options to choose from. Your support, whatever the amount, will help the millions of Canadians, young and old, living with arthritis. General Donation Make a donation to support what is the most exciting time in arthritis research. You will receive a tax receipt for your generous gift. Tribute — In Honour Make a donation to honour someone who is celebrating a special occasion (such as wedding, anniversary, birthday, or bar/bat mitzvah). You will receive a tax receipt for your generous gift, and we will send a card with your special message to the person(s) being honoured. Tribute — In Memory Make a donation in memory of someone who has passed away. You will receive a tax receipt for your generous gift, and we will send a card acknowledging your thoughtful gift to the family.
