The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation works together with health care and research professionals, patients, their families and the community to secure the financial resources necessary to enhance and support research, patient care and education initiatives at Princess Margaret Hospital.

Through our programs, the Foundation raises more than $30 million annually to support the work of Princess Margaret Hospital.

To secure private funding for a new state of the art patient care and research facility, the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation undertook a major fundraising campaign in 1990 and raised more than $50 million towards the total cost of more than $200 million for our new home on University Avenue. Princess Margaret Hospital is now a national and international leader in the fight against cancer and is the only institution in Canada devoted to cancer treatment, research and education.
