| Tuberculosis Clinic |
Toronto Western Hospital's Tuberculosis Clinic was established in 2000
to deliver safe, state-of-the-art tuberculosis care for Toronto's multicultural
communities. The clinic addresses many significant barriers to treatment
including: language and cultural barriers, social stigma, poverty and
homelessness, and possibly toxic medications.
Our services:
- Expert care
- Outreach and educational programs to improve the knowledge and awareness
of tuberculosis in the community and health care workers
- Resources and information about tuberculosis-related issues
- A safe environment for tuberculosis treatment
