The Infection Prevention and Control Unit is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the Infection Prevention and Control Program, the goal of which is to minimize the risk and severity of Hospital-Acquired Infections in patients, staff and visitors. This is done through education, surveillance, consultation, outbreak investigation and total quality management including new product evaluation.
