The Medical/Surgical Day Unit assists outpatients who come to the hospital for treatment of a variety of medical conditions.

What we do:

• administer intravenous (IV) antibiotics, iron infusions, and blood transfusions
• perform phlebotomies
• conduct paracenthesis
• perform liver biopsies
• provide admission and recovery for patients who have same-day surgery
