Volunteer Opportunities

University Health Network Values Volunteers!

Volunteers at University Health Network (UHN) are valued and visible participants within UHN's interdisciplinary team. The dedication and commitment of our volunteers brings a special dimension to a complex hospital system - providing much needed supportive services and programs for patients, families, staff and friends of UHN.

Volunteer with Us!

1.	All interested candidates are required to attend an information session before completing the online application. For upcoming session dates/times and locations please click here.
2.	Complete the following documentation.
	•	TWO (2) reference forms
	•	Immunization record (MMR & Varicella)
3.	Submit an online application please select one of the following links:
	•	Regular Program (Minimum 6 month)
	•	Summer Program (May-Aug) CLOSED
4.	If accepted, you will be asked to complete a Health Assessment form and 2 step tb test.
5.	Attend hospital orientation to learn about UHN policies and procedures, standards and volunteer practices.

Once you have completed STEPS 1-5 you will be contacted by a Placement Coordinator to further discuss your application and placement opportunities. (references to be submitted at placement interview)
