| The Asthma and Airway Centre |
The Asthma and Airway Centre is an ambulatory care facility (treatment
and services that allow patients to go home the same day) located at
Toronto Western Hospital on the 4th floor of the Edith Cavell Wing. Patients
are referred to the Centre for the diagnosis, treatment and management
of asthma and other respiratory problems.
Our services:
- Asthma clinics
- Occupational asthma clinics
- Allergy clinics
- Pulmonary rehabilitation program
- Education program for asthma/Chronic obstructive lung disease
- Asthma counselling program for direct referrals to the nurse educator
by family physicians or other respirologists
- Smoking cessation program
- Pulmonary function laboratory
- Research
